Our Event Partners

We work with a large number of local businesses, both volunteer and commissioned, to help us realise our main event every September. You can read about them here.

Tower Farm Riding Stables – our horse hirers. Tower Farm provides our common riding horses and ceremonial horses as well as horses and ponies for our schools, community centres and care home visits.

Police Scotland Edinburgh Division who provide support for our event throughout the day, including rolling road closures on public roads and event coverage.

Border Search and Rescue Unit and International Rescue Corps who are our First Response teams, providing first aid cover. Both are charities and their qualified teams are volunteers. They rely heavily on fundraising and donations for their services.

Our event performers St. Ronan’s Silver Band, George Heriot’s School Pipe Band, Erskine Stewart’s Melville School Pipe Band, George Watson’s College Pipe Band, The Jacobites who bring the Edinburgh Street Ceilidh to the crowds watching on the Royal Mile, History Matters Ltd re-enactment team, Riders of the Storm stunt riders – read more about them on our ‘Event Performers’ web page.

The The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (SCOTS DG) who join our event on ceremonial duty on stunning traditional grey horses on the Royal Mile – read more about them on our ‘Our Events’ section.

The War Horse Memorial who provides incredible support via collaborated fundraising – read more about this partnership on our ‘About Us’ section.

4X4 Hire Scotland who provides our event support vehicles on event day – much of the terrain during the morning section of main event day is ‘off-road’ and our teams of stewards, first responders and press vehicle all need to be able to follow the cavalcade of riders without problems. These vehicles all have outstanding 4×4 capabilities and the 6-seaters enable all crew, personnel and essential kit to be carried with ease.

Veterinary Surgeon Matt Hanks of Central Equine Vets who provides us with veterinary and welfare support for the horses on event day.

Live Systems Ltd who supply the audio systems for the Royal Mile.

Specialized Security who supply such an essential team of event security, stewarding and crowd management.

Reverend Richard Frazer and Greyfriars Kirk who warmly includes us in their Sunday Service to accommodate our annual Kirking the week before the ride.

The The Three Sisters Bar who supplies us with a superb after-party venue on event day

Graeme E. Pearson gigs and The Musical Walking Tour of Edinburgh who gigs at our After Party and gets everyone up on their feet.

Historic Scotland and Historic Environment Scotland with whom we work closely with in gaining access to sections of the route for the cavalcade, such as Holyrood Park and the Royal Mile.

The City of Edinburgh Council who collaborates with us in making sure the event runs smoothly and safely.
