MEDIA ACCREDITATION
Media Accreditation may be provided to working members of the media and must be applied for via the online form below.
Journalists and Photographers Eligibility Criteria:
Types of Media Accreditation can only be granted to working members of the media who are looking to attend the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches in order to produce coverage of the event. Those considered for the Media Accreditation are:
Level 1 – Priority is given to members of the media who regularly report for:
- UK daily national newspapers
- UK evening newspapers
- UK Sunday newspapers, Interational news agencies
- UK specialist equestrian magazines
- UK Consumer and Lifestyle publications
- Freelancers with proof of commission from an outlet from the above list.
Level 2 – Applications will be considered from:
- UK local and regional newspapers
- UK local and regional magazine and online outlets
- Any media outlets based outside the UK
- Known freelancers without a commission
Level 3 – Applications will not be considered from:
- Freelancers without a commission
- Circulars with content limited to advertising
- Hobby photographers or student journalists
- Content Creators, Influencers or Bloggers
Terms & Conditions:
- For security reasons, Accreditation is non-transferable and Accreditation can only be used by the person named and pictured on the Press Pass.
- All Journalists, Photographers and Videographers must have their own Public Liability and Third Party Liability Insurance.
- If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email and further information.
- Your application does not guarantee Accreditation.
- One application must be completed per individual.
- Requests that are not made via the online application form will not be considered.
- Applying for Accreditation means you accept all of these terms and conditions.
- Processing time: the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches receives large numbers of emails and it may take some time to review every application, however we aim to review applications within 5 working days of receiving them.
- The Edinburgh Riding of the Marches reserves the right to reject applications on the grouds of not meeting eligibility criteria as per the application form. Each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. There is no appeal process if an application is not successful. Applicants must ensure all information requested is provided at application stage.
