We work with a large number of local businesses, both volunteer and commissioned, to help us realise our main event every September. You can read about them here.
Tower Farm Riding Stables – our horse hirers. Tower Farm provides our common riding horses and ceremonial horses as well as horses and ponies for our schools, community centres and care home visits.
Police Scotland Edinburgh Division who provide support for our event throughout the day, including rolling road closures on public roads and event coverage.
Border Search and Rescue Unit and Borders Water Rescue Team who are our First Response teams, providing first aid cover. Both are charities and their qualified teams are volunteers. They rely heavily on fundraising and donations for their services.

The The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (SCOTS DG) who join our event on ceremonial duty on stunning traditional grey horses on the Royal Mile – read more about them on our ‘Our Events’ section.
The War Horse Memorial who provides incredible support via collaborated fundraising – read more about this partnership on our ‘About Us’ section.
4X4 Hire Scotland who provides our event support vehicles on event day – much of the terrain during the morning section of main event day is ‘off-road’ and our teams of stewards, first responders and press vehicle all need to be able to follow the cavalcade of riders without problems. These vehicles all have outstanding 4×4 capabilities and the 6-seaters enable all crew, personnel and essential kit to be carried with ease.
Veterinary Surgeon Louise Cornish of Dick Vet Equine Practice who provides us with veterinary and welfare support for the horses on event day.
Live Systems Ltd who supply the audio systems for the Royal Mile.
Specialized Security who supply such an essential team of event security, stewarding and crowd management.
