The Edinburgh March Riding Association Ltd (EMRA Ltd) is a registered Scottish Charity Number: SC041202
Membership is open to anyone and everyone and the Edinburgh March Riding Association warmly welcomes those interested in supporting our event.
There are three types of Membership available as follows:
Bronze Membership – £15.00
This membership runs from 1st January to 31st December.
This membership includes:
- Entitles the member to attend and have a vote at the AGM in January
- Entitles the member to attend the Kirking of the Captain and Lass in September
- Entitles the member to attend the Flodden Wall Walk in September
By joining the Edinburgh March Riding Association, you will be supporting our work to keep Edinburgh’s history alive and help young people in Edinburgh to benefit from learning and wellbeing with equines in our community outreach projects. You will be able to take part in a range of social and volunteering activities and your subscription will help us to achieve our objectives and bring you enjoyment and learning and secure this for future generations.
Silver Membership – £40.00
This membership runs from 1st April to 31st March.
This membership includes:
- 1 rider’s place at the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches in September
- Entitles the member to attend and have a vote at the AGM in January
- Entitles the member to attend the Kirking of the Captain and Lass in September
- Entitles the member to attend the Flodden Wall Walk in September

Platinum Membership – £130.00
This membership runs from 1st April to 31st March.
This membership includes:
- 1 ticket to the Introduction Evening in April
- 1 ticket to the Edinburgh Ball in September
- 1rider’s place at the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches in September OR 1 place at the Lord Provost’s Civic Reception on main event day
- Entitles the member to attend and have a vote at the AGM in January
- Entitles the member to attend the Kirking of the Captain and Lass in September
- Entitles the member to attend the Flodden Wall Walk in September
- Priority booking for events
- An Association Badge on joining
