This Membership is for those who wish to RIDE in the 2025 Edinburgh Riding of the Marches. (PLEASE NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE HORSE HIRE, WHICH YOU WILL NEED TO SOURCE YOURSELF).
Under 16's MUST be accompanied by a designated adult on horseback. No lead-reins permitted.
£40 per person.
This membership includes:
1 rider's place at the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches on Sunday 14th September 2025 (horse hire not included)
Entitles the member to attend and have a vote at the AGM in January
Entitles the member to attend the Kirking of the Captain and Lass on Sunday 7th September 2025
Entitles the member to attend the Flodden Wall Walk on Sunday 7th September 2025.
By joining the Edinburgh March Riding Association, you will be supporting our work to keep Edinburgh's history alive and help young people in Edinburgh to benefit from learning and wellbeing with equines in our community outreach projects. You will be able to take part in a range of social and volunteering activities and your subscription will help us to achieve our objectives and bring you enjoyment and learning and secure this for future generations.

The Jump Up Fund, launched by the Edinburgh March Riding Association in 2025, aims to provide funding for school children with special educational needs in Edinburgh to engage in learning, riding, respite and wellbeing experiences with horses.
Learning will include horse care, riding and qualifications and it is hoped that we will be able to roll this out to all Edinburgh schools to assist with their Additional Support For Learning services.
Respite and wellbeing experiences are focused on providing positive and purposeful sessions for children to enhance their confidence, wellbeing and communication skills.
